Follow the following steps:

1. - To download files with Newsbin click on the "Servers" tab near the bottom of the program and choose a server or servers by checking them. If you choose multiple servers Newsbin will download all headers from EACH server and will combine incomplete parts from each server to show you a complete file.

2. - Click on the "Groups" tab now and double click on the group which you would like to download from. Newsbin will begin to download the headers from that group for you to view. It is at this point that the "Automatic Download" check box comes into play. If this box is still checked Newsbin will automatically download everything in the group selected. Leaving this box unchecked will allow you to select which files you want to download.

3. - After you double click on the group you will see the following in the "Downloading Articles" section. Newsbin is now downloading the headers for you to view so you may proceed with downloading.

4. - To download a file place a check in the box beside the file you would like. You will see in the bottom right corner the progress bar and a "Kill" button. The kill button is used to stop that file from downloading.

5. - That's it! That is all there is to know about how to use Newsbin to download from usenet. NOTE - when Newsbin is downloading from multiple servers to complete a file speeds will vary according to which server you are downloadnig from.
