You can view messages from the primary control screen by simply clicking on the header for the message. This applies equally to messages retrieved for subscribed newsgroups, Autoscan interest groups, incoming or outgoing e-mail, and file folders.


When you click on a message header the message is displayed in the message display panel. If you click on a header in a subscribed newsgroup for a message you don't yet have, the message display invites you to double click the header to retrieve the message.



When you read a message using the primary control screen you can use the toolbar buttons to perform common operations on the message such as replying to it. Additional operations, such as deleting the message, are available by right clicking on the message header and selecting the operation from the pop-up menu.

To change the font used in the message display window, right click anywhere in the text. A pop-up menu is provided which includes "select font"..News Rover will remember which font you prefer.

You can get a full screen look at a message, and benefit from a wider variety of actions you can take, by using the full-screen view of a message. There are many ways to engage the full screen view of a message:



Highlight the message header and click the "View message full screen" toolbar button.
On the menu bar, click View, then click Messages. You will be presented with a browse list of all the interest groups (as well as any folders) you have defined. Click on an interest group and News Rover will present you with a message browse screen for the interest group. Reading a message from this screen uses the full screen view.



An alternative way to access this message browse for an interest group is by clicking the 'Read Messages' button on the interest group browse screen.



From the picture gallery, right click a picture and select "read message" from the menu.
